The last day - and on to the future.

Thursday, November 1, 2007

Today was potentially the last day of school. Last days of school ought to be spent with quality time talking to teachers while you still can, talking among ourselves reminiscing about the days we spent together.
The last day should be a time of reflection for all of us to think through what has really gone on in us these past 4 years, and if there were any changes within us, and look back at all the camaraderie formed between the classmates, and the bonds of friendships that will never be broken.

This day, was spent in RE Congress -.-

Anyway, we went to do up our booth in 5 minutes and spent the rest of the time playing O2Jam on Cheeyang's laptop because got no internet so cannot play Gunz or JX2. Played and stoned there until I got bored.

It's at times like this when I miss Jason, when we can poke fun at him and laugh at his reaction all the time. However, this time, he cannot be with us, and not because of some lame reasons like those he would usually give to skip floor hockey training, but because his father's life is hanging in the balance. It's incredibly tough for him all this time, and I don't think I can be fully able to understand how he feels. After the end of the 'O' Level papers, everyone was shouting and screaming in jubilation, but when I turned to look at Jason, no he wasn't one of them. I'll pray hard for you and your father, Jason. Hope things go well.

Afterwards we went to LT1 to present our project to a fully-packed theatre of about 1/3 capacity. Oh well not that I cared. Less pressure anyway :)

But when I think about it, this is not how I want to end my school life in RI. Graduation Ceremony is tomorrow, and today we are rushing our RE Congress. Fantastic planning indeed.

For the future, first step would be matriculation. Everyone is going "OMGWTFBBQ MEH BRAINS ARE BURSTING COS I DUNO WHAT TO TAKE", but for me it's quite fixed already.
GCME (Geography, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics) FOR THE WIN. '

"OMG IVAN YOURE DROPPING PHYSICS?!?!"
Me: fuck physics -.-

My parents were unexpectedly un-resistant towards my suggestion for GCME, considering how much they favour PCME over everything else. Maybe they got influenced by my Physics EOY results :D which is "VERY NICE (Y)(Y)".
And PCME is seriously crazy anyway. According to Shawn, GCME has about five classes. PCME has TWENTY-FIVE classes. I think the number speaks for itself. Crazy shits -.-

PE Modules: Badminton, Basketball, Soccer, Table tennis, Tennis, Floorball
Why not the rest? Because: (1) I'll get totally pwned in them (2) Not interested

My future in RJC has been decided. What about you?

P.S. I just realized I might take Chinese in JC after all... might fail :/
