I saw this on my friend's blog as I was blog-hopping (thanks Joanne!) and I laughed like a mad faggot at this. Yes, more than Gatsby and the Bala drawing combined. Granted, it is rather easy for me to laugh, but the combination of the way the lecturer speaks and the comments made it too difficult to hold back my laughter.

Just watch this. Confirm laugh LOL. Makes me want to join NTU in the future just so I can write this bullshit about a lecturer's bald head, sexiness, or moustache in a survey meant to be about teaching.

And so RI Cross Country '07 was held last Friday at Bedok Reservoir (Yes! Jason took 2 hours to get home and I took 5 minutes. Choa Chu Kang ftl.) Anyway, sorry that this post took forever to come out, but I was just lazy to post this during the weekends and upload the minimal photos that I have.
And so, before the Cross Country, all of us had already decided to walk it.
Sec 1: ENTHU! RUN! SCORE POINTS FOR HOUSE!
Sec 2: Walk, run, walk, run... Rinse and repeat.
Sec 3: Ponned, got screwed.
Sec 4: So near my house pon for what. But still walk.
And so, we were all one big group of walkers, but in case of a teacher being nearby we can't just shout "EH WALKERS DON'T WALK SO FAST LEH!" right? So we decided to come up with a codename, which was provided by Julian: Anakins.
WHY THE HELL ANAKINS?! Anakin Skywalker. -.-
And so, we walked along the route, remarked at how far the front runners were, and cut along some shortcuts, to which everyone else other than us were going "WTF?" So they had to walk one big round, and we simply cut that round into 2. :)
We walked and walked and walked, until we reached the pumping station where we saw a national flag. In the spirit of National Day, I told them to sing the National Anthem in front of the flag, and all of them stood well at first, but then went "bleah" in the end and decided to walk away. Spoilsports :(
Ruijin, Victor, Stewart, Jon Gan, Chor Hiang, Zhiqian, and a hidden person behind Zhiqian, as they walked away from the flag when they decided not to sing the Anthem :(
We walked further on, and reached a spot where no trees blocked the scenic view of the reservoir. My artistic sense tingling, I got all of them to pose for a photo right in the middle of the track. The people's expressions as they walked past us were priceless LOL.

Oh and by the way, Julian and Chee Yang were half naked because they felt it was hot and wanted to get a tan. When Andrew Lim walked past they hastily put their shirts back on LOL.
Artistic sense still tingling, Jon Gan and I decided to take a picture of the wide and ocean-like view of the reservoir, which actually had a beautiful bluish tint.
Beautiful, isn't it?
It was from here on that I decided to walk with the 4I guys who were behind us together with my Anakins. And so, as we were walking to the finish, we saw a fat boy running to the finish line. We all went, "SIAO AH PUI BEATING US! NO CANNOT LET HIM BEAT US! RUN!" Then all of us sprinted towards the finishing line. The fat boy was about 50m away from the finishing line and had a 100m headstart away from us. The fat boy turned his head to see a bunch of marauding and stampeding idiots screaming "AH PUI!" and he too sprinted (if you would call it sprinting) to the finishing line. In the end I think I drew with the fat boy. It was super funny how we were going crazy and running towards him. Judging by the fat boy's facial expression, I think he sprinted to the finishing line more out of fear than out of a determination to beat us LOL.
After finishing, I went to the Milo van and downed 11 cups of Milo before getting bored of the taste. The auntie at the van was going, "Wah you all drink at this rate later the Sec 1s got nothing to drink already." Who cares about the Sec 1s =/
The planned Simpsons movie after the walk/run was cancelled, citing reasons such as the showtime being too late, and the fact that they lived pretty far from here. And so I turned my back to my friends cursing me for living so nearby, and walked home :)
P.S. I think a few Sec 1s overtook us as we were walking LOL. They started about 20 minutes later than us?
