Test on my abilities
Saturday, October 13, 2007
You see, I did not bother to blog the moment I left school because I went on a frenzy of crazy, sinful, yet delightful pleasures which were mentioned in the post before this.
However, we actually felt a sense of... boredom. Yes, boredom. Being constantly put into the same environment of Cuppage over and over again playing LAN at its ridiculously cheap prices and pool over and over again with the same few people. We did not really know what we wanted to do.
We discussed a sports day. But obviously not everyone would want to play all the sports. Like for example leech would not play soccer, or Yan De won't play tennis. The problems just keep mounting in the search for entertainment.
Oh wait, did I mention my exams were over?

HOLY SHIT IT'S OVER LOLOLOLOL WOOOTOSODSOOODWODSOD!

And reflecting on my exams, I think it has all actually been a test. A test to see my abilities. A test to see how well I can really do... in last minute mugging. You see, almost all the subjects were studied for in a single day of mad last-minute cramming:
English - What the hell do you study for this?
Social Studies - A few hours in an online discussion with Shawn, reading some notes... that's it.
Maths - I tried for a week. I seriously tried. But it goes to hell all the same.
Chemistry - Studied the textbook. Fullstop.
Physics - Studied for a day on the textbook and nothing else. Goes to hell too.
Geography - LOL SPENT HALF AN HOUR IN TOTAL ON THIS.
Biology - Was in holiday mood when it came to the time to study for this. Studied textbook.
And so you see, my results are going to be returned next Wednesday. I can assure you it's not going to be pretty, but it's a fair test on my brain's capacity for last-minute cramming of information and also my skills of sleep deprivation. I told this to Zhihe the other day, and he was saying: "Why would you want to test this out on your End-of-Years?"
Now that I think about it, good point.
