And so, I return here to post a blogpost, showing that I am indeed safe and sound. Why? Because I obtained rather satisfactory marks, or rather because it's quite easy to give me marks I am satisfied with anyway.
I did not go to the 7th floor because I was not sad enough or happy enough to do so, and because the world loves me to much for me to leave it yet. :/
Anyway enough of the bullshit, here's an update on my scores for the subjects I got back so far:
Maths:
Exam - 51/80 Overall - 63
Social Studies:
Exam - 26/30 Overall - 78
Chemistry:
Exam - 53/80 Overall - 70
Biology:
Exam - 58/100 Overall - 58
chinese*:
Overall - 63
So essentially I maintained everything, and pulled my SS up one grade o.o
People are unsatisfied at missing 4.0s (Bobo's incessant "AIYA I MISS 4.0 FOR MATHS"), while I am happy with just what I get. It is sometimes important to appreciate what you have done, and not always think about the "what should have been".
No, it's not about the Dark League I am talking about here, it's simply about practicing a virtue of Contentment. Sometimes, we feel that we could have gotten this and could have gotten that, but it is important to realize that we did get all the marks which we did, and should again be happy for what we have done correctly. Do not keep blaming yourself for what you did not do, but rejoice for what you have done. That, is the essence of contentment:
"In no wise covet those things in which God hath bestowed His gifts more freely on some of you than on others: to men is allotted what they earn, and to women what they earn: but ask God of His bounty." (4:32)

P.S. Whether I can go for the interclass still depends on my marks tomorrow: English, Physics and Geography. If any of them fail me, I might feel very sad and demoralized :(
