I forgot to say, our RE group got into the RE Semifinals. I think quite alot of groups got in the semifinals also. BUT BUT BUT, WE ARE THE DARK LEAGUE GROUP! WHICH MAKES THINGS LOLOLOLOL! I have no idea what I'm saying.
And so, we presented on Thursday 6th September after a half an hour delay in front of Cheryl Yap, Lim Yoke Tong, Alicia Goh, and Dennis Au (OMGLOLMARKPHILOWHENDIEINDOTAANDWAITINGFORRESPAWN).
Only three members were present out of four, because JASON ANG JUN JIE (AngJJ for short) could not come because he was away on HOLIDAY (while we were slogging ourselves he enjoying himself in HONG KONG). This is how the conversation went during this recess when we found out we got into the Semifinals:
Jason: "Eh shit sorry I think I cannot make it I going holiday. To Hong Kong."
Me: "Walao siao la why u always liddat one... in the end always make us do the work."
Zhihe: "Ya la... you always liddat one."
Jason: "Sorry man... cannot help it la. *changes tone completely* Eh damn cheap la. 350 dollars only leh, you want to go?"

HE STILL HAD THE CHEEK TO ASK US TO JOIN HIM IN HIS ENJOYMENT WHILE WE HAVE TO SLOG TO PREPARE?! But that's not what made me pissed at Jason, but yet strangely at the same time, laughing at him (I guess he's naturally like that).
And so we had to cover his roles for Oral Presentation, and it turns out that it was a whole lot of stuff to cover. I actually have no idea how he covers so much information into that limited time slot of his, or whether he actually cuts stuff out as he is READING his script. Crazy fella. Make us memorize like some gay fags just so we can hold on to our reputation as noscriptbois.

So, we actually planned stuff out two days before, and in the end we made some major changes about 10 minutes before the real thing. 8D Luckily my part didn't change, so my presentation in the end was quite smooth, but according to Zhihe, it was getting drone-y and softer and softer towards the end. Must be loss of stamina in voice O:
Anyway, here's to the Dark League group making it to the finals and winning some shit, and finally make my stay in RI have at least an honour other than table tennis medals which are like free gifts to me. And yes, I am actually rather proud of my RE this year. Raised $11,050. Really proud :D
