Founder's Day
Sunday, May 27, 2007
I totally forgot to mention Founder's Day yesterday, Saturday 26th May 2006 9am-12pm.
What can I say anyway? Last year of school makes no difference. All around me I hear "Aiya last year already might as well just go. Later come out of RI never experience Founder's Day/detention/Cross Country/Swimming Carnival/Track and Field Finals etc. before... so
lau kui (meaning embarrassing)." But hey, if I take things in my stride and think that it is the last year after all and it would be good for me to go to those mentioned above, then one major component would be wasted - TIME. Yes, and Founder's Day is no difference.
It took half an hour to finally get the event under way, with RICO performing their piece. I thought it sounded not bad, except for a few weird sounding parts, but then again to the untrained ear it might actually be correct so who knows? And then the presenting of prizes... THIS GUY WAS GAY. 6 PRIZES TO HIS NAME. But Daniel Chew is even more gay. At Sec 3 he already got 7 prizes -.-
Singing of the song, me and Zhihe were singing super loud on purpose. Saw alot of people turn behind to look at us so we kept singing to show it was us :D And then the guest of honour went to speak and honestly speaking, it was freaking boring. I was trying to place my book in such a position to block my head from Teo Chai Yaw's view, but it was even more tiring to hold the book in place than to just sit there and stone. Speaking of Teo Chai Yaw,
TCY: "Good morning Angels."
Angels: "Good morning Chai Yaw!" LOL.
Went to watch Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End. Was really quite a nice show, but with perceivably less of the humour than its predecessors. Me and leech were commenting on all the
stuff we could do in the darkness of the theatre and nobody would know. No stop thinking dirty, we meant eating our smuggled KFC in the theatre D:
Oh yea and about Friday's pool session, I shall just mention this one sentence which left me laughing for 3-5 minutes, until I could even feel the lactic acid from
laughter.
Adriel Tay a.k.a. Duck: "God bless this ball."
*Attempts a jump ball, hitting it out of the table*
Might not seem funny when you read it but its got to be experienced to really laugh at it. The way Adriel did it was just so comical and random. Oh well, pool trips always leave me with something to reminisce about. Looking forward to next time :)
