This is the best. Big time. I have done papers and I have failed them, passed them... and here I thought I had seen it all. That was until I saw today's Chemistry paper.
Thanks to all the 90+s at the 100s that were gotten in the level, we expected them to kill us in this test. Yes I knew they were going to kill us, but this is not even kill. Its daylight murder, its a massacre of unprecedented proportions. I saw last year's Chemistry CT paper and I thought, "What could be more difficult than this?" That was answered today.
The Chemistry Department really loves to give people false hope. First question: OMGEASY. I thought that would set the tone for the rest of the paper, and I would be able to pwn it from there. But alas, a happy ending isn't to be. The difficulty started from the second question onwards -.-
Also, I do not know what is up with giving easy stuff for grades, and then suddenly giving us an OMGPWNAGEWTFBBQIJUSTGOTPWNED paper that all of us will fail anyway. You see, their main motive is to kill us and lower our marks, but what they are doing effectively is widening the gap between the perennial low-scorers and the imba gays who say such papers are easy (yes there are such people). They are not lowering everyone's marks down proportionately, but are simply owning all of us noobs T_T
During the test, I did the paper, skipped through the questions I totally do not understand (1/4 of the paper) and tikam-ed some questions (1/2 of the remaining paper), and by the time I reached the start of the last section, it was 1.40. End of test: 1.45. And yet as I sat there panicking, the clock relentlessly and mercilessly counted down on me while my heart was wrenched by the inner turmoil. So I just anyhow spammed Section C and left the 1/4 blank -.-
After the test, everybody goes into furious discussion. "Eh issit PbS?" "Issit this?" "Issit that?" The whole class erupted into the many questions. Then as I heard the questions and discussions that followed, I realized something:
I do not know anything.
Everything I heard seemed foreign and incomprehensible. I did not even realise that such a question could be interpreted that way, or that such an answer was expected. Nothing I wrote was correct. All I thought in my mind was: GG.
But hey, lets all look on the bright side of life, and I'll be content knowing that once again, I topped the Dark League, and with possibly flying colours close to full marks. So I can now send a clear message to all the peoples out there: If you want to steal my throne, dream on. The Dark League Chairman position remains mine and always will.
